At their core, there is no difference in what they are.
Both are diamonds in the truest sense—

What separates them is not their nature,

A mined diamond is formed deep within the earth,
over immense spans of time, under natural pressure and heat.
It is brought to the surface, then cut and refined before it is ever seen.
A lab-grown diamond is created under those same conditions—
pressure and heat carefully controlled—
allowing the crystal to form as it would below the earth,
but within a more measured environment.
The result, in both cases, is the same material.
