FINAL REVIEW AND DELIVERY

Each commission undergoes final review and quality check, then it is documented and prepared for secure insured delivery.

Each Bellamy bespoke-cut diamond begins with a set of desired characteristics rather than an exact specification.

Clients may request:

• Shape

• Approximate ratio and outline

• Faceting style (Old Mine Cut, Old European Cut, Rose Cut, Transitional Cut, and other antique or modern arrangements)

• Target carat weight

All Bellamy bespoke-cut diamonds are produced in the D–G color range and VS clarity or better.

Because each diamond is cut individually from its own piece of rough, final measurements and proportions may vary modestly from the original request. Target carat weight serves as a minimum rather than an exact figure. A diamond requested at 2.00 carats, for example, may finish at 2.10 or 2.20 carats depending on the rough and the cutting process.

These variations allow the cutter to preserve the stone's beauty, light performance, and individual character rather than forcing it to conform to a fixed specification.

Each Bellamy bespoke cutting commission requires approximately 8–10 weeks to complete, excluding shipping and grading times. We work closely with master cutters who possess more than twenty years of experience in bespoke diamond cutting. To reserve a place on our bespoke cutting calendar, a 50% deposit is required.

Upon completion, the finished diamond is submitted to IGI for independent grading and laser inscription before being presented for final review. The remaining balance is due prior to secure and insured delivery.

For clients commissioning a finished piece of jewelry, timelines may vary depending upon the complexity of the design, CAD development, and production process. Most bespoke projects are completed within approximately 12 weeks.

Every Bellamy bespoke-cut diamond is accompanied by an independent IGI grading report, laser inscription, and documentation detailing its individual characteristics.

We work closely alongside master cutters who possess decades of experience in the creation of antique-inspired diamonds. Each stone is individually faceted by hand, allowing for thoughtful adjustments throughout the cutting process that help create the character, depth, broad flashes of light, and exceptional transparency associated with the finest historic diamonds.

Rather than pursuing absolute uniformity, consideration is given to the qualities that made antique diamonds so beloved—high crowns, distinctive faceting, open culets, optical purity, and a presence that feels individual in both appearance and light. The result is a diamond that celebrates character alongside precision.
